Business Card Printing

Business cards are important, as they alone can represent the image of the company or the individual. They generally hold basic information about the individual and the company to which they belong to. These will be the contact details of the individual and the company logo, name and address. It is therefore vital, and extremely important that the business card is of a high standard when presented to a potential client. And so it is very important that one chooses the right company to print their business cards.

Many printing companies now offer businesses packages and deals on business card printing. Businesses have the flexibility in choosing the design of their card and what information they may wish to put on it.

There are many different types of business cards and styles of business cards available in the market today. Some companies may opt for embossed card with raised typography, with minimal colours. Others may opt for their business cards to be laminated, or printed on tear-resistant card. Many business cards will be printed in full colour, or will contain an image that will be relevant to the company. Sometimes, a UV coat may be applied to strengthen the card, especially if it has been printed using a digital copier. Companies who wish to create a unique image of their company or themselves will use materials that may be slightly of the ordinary from which to create their business cards.

Advances in technology have seen the emergence of CD-ROM business cards. These are square, round or oblong forms of media that are designed to hold up to 100MB of data, and are made to the same size as a conventional business card. Although a good concept, and allows the company to ass off even more information to potential clients, the traditional paper/card business cards are still more popular.
